A stripped-down ultralight pack with cutting-edge fabric
The Murmur 36L backpack by Gossamer Gear has been stripped down to just the essentials because in the pursuit of ultralight, every detail matters. Designed with cutting-edge ultralight & waterproof ALUULA® Graflyte™ V52 fabric made from a 100% polyethylene fused at the molecular level—no adhesives, coatings, fraying or delamination. Graflyte™ is lighter, stronger, and more durable than traditional laminates.
The design is simple, functional, and field-proven. Even Gossamer Gear's founder, Glen Van Peski has made the switch to this pack! A front stretch mesh overflow pocket handles layers, snacks, or a damp shelter. Enjoy familiar features like cinch-top bottle pockets, lace-up cord side compression, and a roll-top closure. Everything you need and nothing you don’t, so you can take less and do more.
Features:
- Frameless with removable ⅜ Torso Pad
- No hip belt
- Roll-top closure with side connection points
- Front stretch mesh overflow pocket
- Integrated water bottle pockets with cinch closure
- Lace-up side cord compression
- Multiple gear and tool attachment points
- Quick-attach belt loops for a FastBelt
- Full interior taping for waterproof seams
- Trail-tested airmesh shoulder straps and ultralight hardware
- Trekking pole attachment points
- Top carry handle
*Note: If you’re second-guessing this decision, trust your gut: don’t buy this pack. It’s NOT for everyone. We only recommend this pack for kits 15 pounds or less.
This pack is NOT submersible in water.
